Melissa Deutsch began her legal career working for the oldest and largest firm in Austin. As a paralegal and assistant, she supported several litigation teams retained by Fortune 100 corporations and growing regional corporations to defend product liability, product defect, premises liability, and contractual disputes.
She later went on to litigate under SMU’s Consumer Law Clinic assisting consumers deceived by sellers’ fraud, hidden contractual traps, and legal loop holes.
Today she focuses her practice on consumer and small business needs. As a small business counselor, she’s assisted entrepreneurs in protecting their business assets by evaluating their businesses and suggesting various legal barricades to competition such as: employee contracts, corporate formation, limited liability corporation formation, partnerships, operating agreements, |
